Although fasting is a private practice before God, it is essential to understand that it can also have an effect that goes beyond ourselves. In this final sermon, we turn outward to issues of love and justice as we concern ourselves with fasting that is focused on restoration, renewal, and revival that comes only from the embodiment of God’s presence in our world.
